Dr. Esias Bedingar is a Program Manager at Big Win Philanthropy. He brings extensive experience in policy, governance, and health systems strengthening. Prior to this role, he served as the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Chad, where he established and led the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit. In this capacity, he spearheaded initiatives to enhance service delivery, reduce systemic inefficiencies, and expand equitable access to public services.
Before his tenure in government, Dr. Bedingar worked with the World Bank Group, providing strategic insights on health financing, human capital development, and social policy. He also contributed to the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program, advising health, education, and finance ministers across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia on optimizing investments in human development. Dr. Bedingar serves as Chair of the World Health Organization’s Global Action for Measurement of Adolescent Health Advisory Group and is a member of the African Union Youth Reference Committee.
Dr. Bedingar holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Public Health from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Global Health and Population from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He earned his Ph.D. in Population Health Sciences from Harvard University in 2025.
