Edward Muguza is a Program Director at Big Win Philanthropy. With rich experience in both the public and private sectors, Edward is passionate about tackling development challenges in health and entrepreneurship. He began his career as an associate at the Parthenon Group, a business consultancy in Boston, USA, working on public-private education projects and private equity due diligence projects. Equipped with the fundamentals of business and a desire to work on development challenges, Edward joined the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), where he focused on health financing and HIV prevention across the African continent. Later, as the Head of Rural Transformation and Sustainable Livelihoods at the Higherlife Foundation, Edward managed the rollout and implementation of a social impact loan program for rural businesses and small holder farmers in Zimbabwe. Edward holds an MSc in Public Policy from the University of Oxford (UK) and a BA (Hons) in Chemistry from Amherst College (USA).
